Okay so this temple we were in, it was magic, right? Magic shit all over the place.Just magic everywhere.

Except it was also like........bug-themed. Beetles.

So as we got near the end of the tomb we figured out that the guy who built it had hidden his treasure room behind this magical gateway, and the only way to get to it was to go through.

So the gateway turned out to be this fountain, and you had to jump into it to have it take you to the other side.

Except it didn't pour water, it poured beetles.

my friends did and i did not because who the fuck just up and jumps into a fountain of beetles.

even if i had to do that to save my LIFE i would straight up fail. i would just DIE.

did you have to wait outside while they all hung out in the treasure room then??

Yup! I stood there like a loser playing tic-tac-toe with myself while they went in and found out that surprise surprise, the guy had booby-trapped his treasure room.

Prooooooobably? It was big and had a lot of legs. Like way too many legs.

Anyway I guess it jumped out at them and started kicking their asses. I mostly heard about it secondhand but apparently it was not a great time in there.

But apparently after a while the monster got sneaky and made a break for the gateway, I think because it was going to go destroy it? Like so the intruders couldn't get back out.

So yeah it popped out where I was.

I actually don't really remember what I did outside of screaming a lot. Whatever it was, it worked, though, because it just kind of vaporized.

It left a leg behind too. Gross.
