well i'm not a very good swimmer anyway. and i'm worried i might freeze myself in place if i get scared out there. （；￣д￣）

Well, I'm not entirely sure the swimming problem will be a concern. Though I suppose the effect will probably end when the Fissure is stabilized...

Still, I haven't exactly had to worry about drowning yet.

It's not that terrible for the short term, really, though it takes a bit of getting used to.

i do crunches! i work out!! some of us don't build up like that!

is it way weird? do you still have lungs?

I would presume so? I haven't had any trouble breathing air, at any rate, the gills tend to close reflexively above water.

My own situation would probably qualify as 'way weird,' but that's more a function of this specific form, I think. I have learned a great deal about octopus anatomy firsthand in a way I never expected.

Thank goodness, no.

But as it turns out, octopuses taste everything they touch.

It is alternately interesting and terrible and generally very overwhelming.

The water itself is fine for the most part. It's not quite the same as mouth-tasting. Other people and things are pretty interesting, though.

The one I did intentionally, yes.

The other is my brother in law after an accidental collision and I am not risking my life touching that entire nest of hornets.
